“Nothing is stronger than the heart of a volunteer”
Each year volunteers offer their time and talents to the Buffalo Niagara Dragon Boat Festival®, and we are grateful for their support. From helping in the Children’s Area to assisting the videographer, and lots of tasks in between, many volunteer opportunities exist.
If you are interested in contributing your unique skills to the Dragon Boat Festival, please complete the volunteer form with an indication of the area you are interested in working.
Transport supplies and signage from our storage center on Friday at noon, returning on Saturday at 5:00 pm. Proficiency driving a 10' to 15' U-Haul Moving Truck is required.
Vendor Setup – Assist Vendors at 7:00 am to carry products from the parking lot to the vendor area.
Setup and takedown - Takes place 6:00 am the day of the event and immediately following the event at 5:00 pm.
Children’s Area – Assist with crafts and face painting from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
